A Serb who will play a role in the continuation of Harry Potter

Belgrade actor Predrag Bjelac (42) will be in the fourth film of Harry Potter. The film under the title "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is filming in London and the premiere will happen at the end of 2005. Predrag is playing the role of evil professor Igor Karkaroff.
Bjelac has already lived and worked in Prague for 12 years, but these days he "jumped" to the working city so he could see his mother and friends. So a chance to know a little more about our countryman, who slowly but surely is building his worldly career. He greeted us with a smile and said:

Dennis Todorovic Discusses his "Love of Fate"

Amor Fati (which is Latin and translates "Love of Fate") is a story about Nenad (Branko Tomovic), born and raised in Germany but of Serbian or Montenegrin origin, and his father-in-law Branko (Pedja Bjelac), who on the night of Nenad's wedding get into a tragic car accident in which they both loose their dearest: Sanja, Nenad's bride and Branko's daughter. Branko was driving the car during the accident and in his grief Nenad blames the careless driver, his father-in-law for murdering his wife.

However, Branko is Montenegrin and his concept of life seems to be a quite different one to Nenad's. He blames destiny, that inescapable blueprint in life, and to Nenad there doesn't even seem to be a hint of guilt in Branko's emotions. Now that's the conflict which comes to its climax in the Montenegrin mountains. Without giving too much away, I can say this much: Nenad challenges destiny.

Our man in the world of magic

OOH HE WAS COOL! I loved him and want to see him again. I don't understand though, how in one scene he's in shackles inside a prison container, naming names in front of judges, and then he's a teacher. Huh? Nothing about that was explained. The actor was great. He was mesmerizing. I thought, this guy has to play Rasputin, if he hasn't already. If he and Lucius ever faced off, I think my head would explode in intensity. As far as costuming, kind of gyspy-like. (Speaking of Pedja portraying Karkaroff)

Nas covek u svetu magije

Nakon trilogije o najmocnijem decaku – carobnjaku Harry Potteru, filmski producenti su dosli na ideju da snime i cetvrti nastavak Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ("Hari Poter i vatreni pehar"). Jos jednom ce se gledaoci susresti sa vilama, vesticama, carobnjacima i dobrim i zlim umovima u zamku Hogwarts. Ovih dana snimanje je privedeno kraju i ostaje samo da se saceka 18. novembar, kada ce se u Londonu odrzati svetska premijera filma za decu i odrasle.
